Why A Writing Workshop?

First, INSPIRATION

Nothing inspires more than meeting with other writers

Second, STIMULATION

Nothing stimulates more than meeting with other writers.

Third, FEEDBACK

Nothing is more important to a writer than the feedback from the community.

Here is the sticky stickling point though. Many writing teachings are loaded with judgement about your work. In most cases, it's nearly impossible to submit your writing to a group and not shake in your shoes about being judged but my work with you isn't a literary contest. My workshops are about getting to the heart of your deepest truth and rendering that truth into words. We go far deeper than judgments about "good writing." Great truth is great writing, period.

Four spots are open for the Portland Intensive. In Pittsburgh, we have space for ten writers. FInd your way to the Teachings page on this site, check it out and join us!
