Thank you for validating for me that reading memior while writing can be/is good-helpful! I have scoured bookstores looking for similar works to mine and I am finding it tremendously inspiring to see what is NOT written in them that I can-because I lived it! My little local writes group sort of poo-poo's the idea, so hearing this today shored me up to keep doing what I've been doing! Great stuff - thank you so much for generously providing these recordings for us to glean from.
